6 Killed in Crash in Northwestern Pennsylvania

Six people were killed, including two children, when a Jeep Liberty driven by Kathy Douglas of Kane, 36 years old, crossed the center line and hit a Pontiac Bonneville head-on in the Allegheny National Forest. Douglas’ daughter and nephew were killed as well as four people in the sedan.

Douglas and her 10-year-old son were seriously injured. The boy was taken to the hospital and is doing fine. Douglas, on the other hand, was in serious condition, according to a nursing supervisor at the UMPC in Erie.
