New Zealand Car Crash After Bank RobberyAuckland police officers chased two bank robbers trying to escape from the crime scene. The chase reached speeds of up to 140km/h. The chase ended after the vehicle that the robbers were driving crashed into a Ford Falcon truck.

The robbers and the driver of the truck were all injured.

According to Anna Leask  for the The New Zealand Herald, “The robbers left in a maroon BMW car, but were soon spotted by police on State Highway 22 near Drury and chased on to the Southern Motorway, where the collision occurred when the BMW drove into the rear of the ute near the Karaka interchange.”
